Welcome! The ExperimentsAtSchool website has a focus on interactive experiments that are fun and engaging for students. Interactive Experiments are engaging for the student and collect data for later analysis. Other experiments teach statistics and data handling concepts. Experiments are supported by worksheets and other resources.

    Welcome to the redesigned ExperimentsAtSchool site. The new site went live on 15 November 2006, this reorganisation is intended to make the site easier to use, enabling you to access the resources you require more quickly.

  • Featured Experiment: Spot Reaction Timer

    The Spot Reaction Timer experiment, allows pupils to test their reaction times. The Spot Reaction Timer also appears in Phase 7 of CensusAtSchool.

  • Why not try: Number Recognition

    The Number Recognition experiment allows students to compare the accuracy of estimating the numbers of dots arranged in a random pattern to those arranged in a regular pattern. This leads into a range of Possible investigations.
