AtSchool Projects.
Based on concepts of "Real Data - Real Learning", the AtSchool
projects aim to improve statistics and data handling skills amongst school
children.
The international CensusAtSchool project collects and disseminates real data for use by teachers and pupils in data-handling, ICT and across the curriculum for learning and teaching.
Complementing CensusAtSchool by completing the handling data cycle, SurveyAtSchool allows pupils to create their own online surveys and investigate the collected data.
IssuesAtSchool was piloted during the academic year 2004/5 by 12 specialist schools. The project focuses on biomedical issues, (often controversial) and are developed through class activities and debate followed by individual opinion.
